This is the command pstoedit that can be run in the OnWorks free hosting provider using one of our multiple free online workstations such as Ubuntu Online, Fedora Online, Windows online emulator or MAC OS online emulator Run in Ubuntu Run in Fedora Run in Widows Sim Run in MACOS Sim.

pstoedit converts Postscript(TM) and PDF files to other vector graphic formats so that they can be edited graphically. The formats it can generate include tgif, fig, PDF, gnuplot, DXF, Java Applets, HPGL, WMF, EMF, LaTeX2e, SWF, and many others. pstoedit's framework can be used independantly by other programs.

Release Notes: A new backend for generating PowerPoint pptx was added. Handling of composite fonts, especially those with FMapType other than 2, was improved. Bounding box tracing of text was improved. The creation of filenames when using the '-split' option was changed. A bug in the detection of rectangles was fixed. Other minor changes were made.

Release Notes: A bug in the handling of the '-page' option was fixed. Support for 64-bit systems was improved. Some features for supporting the LaOS project were added.

Release Notes: A new option '-minlinewidth' was added for adjusting very thin lines to a minimal width. A new option '-pslanguagelevel' was added for easily switching the language level to be used by GhostScript. A new driver for the 'Context Free' drawing tool was implemented. Some problems in handling composite fonts were fixed.

Release Notes: Several improvements were made to the PCB driver, to the mpost driver, and to the font substitution mechanism. New drivers were added for gcode (.ngc) files and for .vtk files (e.g. for ParaView). A Cairo output driver was added, which creates C code for linking against the Cairo libraries. A number of problems related to clipping and image support for the Asymptote backend were fixed. A line width problem with the xfig format was fixed. Several code adaptations were made for newer libraries and compilers. Various other enhancements and bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: Better support for pagesize handling was added to the driver framework. Onenote for mac outlining. Better handling of fonts using 0 encoded characters was implemented. A bug in the fig backend related to dotted lines was fixed. A problem which caused newer versions of Ghostscript to go into an endless loop was fixed.
