Install fonts
Double-click the font in the Finder, then click Install Font in the font preview window that opens. After your Mac validates the font and opens the Font Book app, the font is installed and available for use.

Start by typing out one or more lines of your list, with each item of your list on a different line. Then, select those lines. On the “Home” tab of the Ribbon, click the “Multilevel Lists” button, and then click one of the built-in lists types shown on the dropdown menu. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the arrow next to Multilevel List, and then click Define New List Style. Specify a name for your new list style. Choose the number to start the list at. The default value is 1. Choose a level in the list to apply your formatting. Specify the font face, size. 
This is set in the Multilevel list dialog. I am not on a Mac, I can show it to you in a Windows dialog if that would help. The procedures in Shauna's page or the best practices page must all be followed and you set up the numbering for all levels at once. In the above dialog, they are set for four levels.
